Tools for Success
01
Work Your Mind
Your mind controls your body, your thoughts, and your emotions. We sometimes don’t realize why we are craving bad food. We sometimes give up on ourselves or sabotage ourselves. We sometimes say “I can’t”, when if you just tried you realize you can. This is a foundational part to getting healthy. Because Of Megan’s background in therapy, she can help work through barriers that you might not have realized you had.
02
Fuel Your Body
Every calorie we consume is the fuel that gets us through our day. Believe it or not, not eating enough can cause weight gain, fatigue, injury, and depression. Our body needs the right amount of fuel, and the right type of fuel to perform to its optimal level. Don’t think starving yourself will help you feel and look the way you want!
03
Move Your Body
Our bodies were meant to move. Movement brings on endorphins (Happy neurotransmitters), lubricates our joints, lengthens our muscles. Intentional movement is an important part of living a healthy, well balanced life. It doesn’t have to be going to the gym, it can be whatever brings you joy: walking the dog, playing with your kids on the playground, running, lifting, cycling, riding horses etc. It’s important to try to move your body 20 minutes every day.
